Health and Safety lies at the forefront of any successful construction project from its initiation through the design, construction, operation, and eventual expiry of use, to ensure we create working environments that allow workers and end users to carry out their work efficiently and without risk of harm.

 

Anyone who has construction work carried out, has legal duties under The Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM2015) and as clients are seen as one of the biggest influencers on the way projects are run, they are held accountable for their management of the health and safety aspects within CDM2015.

 

One of the client’s duties upon initiation of any project is to appoint a Principal Designer where it is anticipated that there will be more than one contractor on site.

 

Perspective’s experienced and knowledgeable surveyors will ensure clients are guided through the construction project, safe in the knowledge that they are complying with their legal duties and that the health and safety aspects of the project are being fully co-ordinated and managed.  Our CDM Advisor service will support clients to comply with their legal duties, even where no Principal Designer is required.
