Scott Spittal
Scott is an accomplished Chartered Building Surveyor, equipped with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Building Surveying and an MSc Degree in International Project Management.
​
With his career spanning from a graduate surveyor to becoming an Associate Partner in a prominent firm, Scott's journey led him to establish Perspective. Recognising an opportunity to revolutionise how Clients engage with consultants in the construction industry, he embarked on an adventure to create Perspective Building Consultancy.
​
Scott's expertise extends to Project Management, where he has successfully overseen numerous prestigious projects for esteemed entities such as the Scottish Government. Noteworthy examples include Scotland House in London and Brussels.
Scott is well-versed in Technical Due Diligence, Building Surveying Inspection Reports, and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), delivering comprehensive solutions for clients.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Scott cherishes quality time with his young family and has a passion for various sports. He actively engages in charitable fundraising efforts, currently holding a board member position in the Children's Aid Scotland charity.

Alastair is a skilled professional in Building Surveying, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. With proficiency across all aspects of the industry, he serves a diverse portfolio of Landlord and Tenant Clients.

Alastair's speciality lies in Dilapidations, where he works closely with Tenants and Landlords to achieve outstanding outcomes. His exceptional track record speaks for itself, consistently delivering top-notch results for his valued Clients.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Alastair enjoys spending quality time with his family. His unwavering support for his beloved team, Partick Thistle, adds an element of passion to his life.

Alastair stays at the forefront of the field by actively staying informed about the latest Dilapidations Case Law, ensuring he provides the most current and practical guidance to his Clients.

DIRECTOR of ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
ANDREW DALY
Andrew brings over 20 years of experience in the construction sector, specialising in architectural services. He is a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) and a Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists member. With a strong background in industrial, commercial, residential, retail, and elderly care projects, Andrew provides clients with expert design and technical advice from project inception to completion. He has extensive knowledge of building regulations, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Andrew excels in developing software workflows for efficient architectural documentation in both 2D and 3D formats. He remains at the forefront of industry trends, utilising BIM, VR, rendering, and 3D scanning technologies to enhance project clarity and value.
​
As Director of Architectural Services at Perspective Building Consultancy, Andrew is eager to contribute to business growth and lead the creation of a dynamic architectural team under the guidance of Scott and the existing team.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
GEMMA BOYCE
Gemma is a highly accomplished Building Surveyor who graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2009 with a First Class Honours Degree in Building Surveying. Since then, she has been consistently engaged in her profession, working in both the Public and Private Sectors, serving a diverse range of clients across an extensive property portfolio.
Currently, Gemma's expertise lies in Project Management Consultancy Services for Perspective. In this role, she oversees a vast construction portfolio, effectively coordinating multi-discipline design teams. Her ability to manage projects and provide valuable guidance ensures successful outcomes for Perspective and its clients.
Outside of her professional commitments, Gemma is an ardent fan of Formula 1, and she indulges in her passion by swapping her hard hat and high visibility vest for a racing helmet and suit. Gemma enjoys spending time on the sidelines of a football pitch, cheering on her family.

CHARTERED BUILDING SURVEYOR
RICHARD PRICE
Richard Price is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). With seven years of experience post-qualification, he has worked across various sectors, including education, social housing, tenement repairs, and insurance.
​
Richard's career began by designing classrooms and small extensions and assisting with more extensive plans for a private school. This foundation allowed him to gain a diverse range of skills and knowledge. He then transitioned into private practice, focusing on Stock Condition Surveys of Social Housing, technical bid writing/submissions for Academy Repairs, managing clients, and dealing with the challenges of working on flat roofs in the height of summer.
In 2019, Richard relocated back to Scotland to be closer to his family. Since then, he has collaborated closely with Factors, Insurance Companies, Landlords, and Tenants. He has gained extensive experience handling dilapidations and reignited his passion for working with stone buildings despite their inherent challenges.
Currently residing in the southside of Glasgow, Richard shares his home with two dogs. He also has an expanding hobby room, which he attributes to the patience of his girlfriend and conveniently non-structural walls.

OFFICE MANAGER / PA
Charlene been with Perspective Building Consultancy since 2021.
With extensive experience in the Building Surveying sector, Charlene possess in-depth knowledge of surveys, terminology, and report writing. While she is not a surveyor, Charlene enjoys being part of the team and actively participating in our work.
As the Office Manager, Charlene manages the daily operations and supporting the surveyors.
Outside of work, she prioritises spending time with her family. Charlene's 6-year-old son, who is involved in football training and matches, keeps her busy. Additionally, she enjoys socialising and dining out.
